Curry Music Foundation
Giving underprivileged kids free music lessons — guitar, piano, and ukulele — when funding is available. Because every child deserves the chance to discover music.
The Mission
Neil Curry founded the Curry Music Foundation to give underprivileged kids in West Virginia the same opportunity he wished he'd had growing up. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit provides online lessons and full equipment packages to children whose families can't afford them.
"I'm living proof," Neil says. "My parents could not afford to pay for my college. I had to work very hard from 14, practicing five to 10 hours a day. I was able to get scholarship money."
Neil is actively seeking sponsors for West Virginia students. When a sponsor or the foundation covers the cost, the lesson rate is $70/hour — paid entirely by the sponsor, never the student. Students receive a complete equipment package and 52 weeks of one-on-one online lessons.
What a Sponsored Student Gets
Every sponsored student receives a complete package — no cost to the family.
